Samatlar Hes Projesi

Belonging to 1461 Trabzon Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., located at İğdir locality in Araç district, Kastamonu, on the Araç River, the Samatlar Regulator and HPP consists of an 11,800-meter open (trapezoidal) canal water transmission structure and 3 Francis-type turbines, with a total capacity of 6.030 MWm / 5.783 MWe and an annual production capacity of 17.712 GWh. It began operating on 27.12.2016. The generated energy is transmitted via a 36 kV transmission line to the Araç substation. It is within the scope of YEKDEM.
